If the PE/EVA appears to be sticking and tearing, apply a small amount of acetone to the PSA(Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive) and continue lifting with the putty knife. You may need help from another person. After removing the entire mat, a small amount of PSA will remain on the surface. Soak it in mineral oil for 10 minutes, then scrape it with a plastic putty knife and a rag. After the PSA is removed, remove the mineral oil with acetone.
