You can even stand on it (if safe) to ensure a completely secure bond. Step 5: The Final Cure and Enjoyment 1. Let it sit: For the strongest possible bond, avoid using the brake pads for at least 0-48 hours. If possible, let it sit for 48 hours before frequent use or cleaning. 2.
